Modern Day Treasure Hunters offers a fun, unique activity to get co-workers and/or teammates
interacting, moving and learning. Objectives met in our team building activities include:
- Identify the characteristics of effective work teams
- Understand roles people play in teams
- Develop communication and interpersonal skills
- Build trust and commitment among colleagues
- Relate experiences back to everyday life
How it works:
Groups of up to 20 people divide into smaller teams of 4-6 people. Teams are given instruction on
the objectives of their team mission and how to use the hand-held GPS to navigate the nearby area
to search for "clues" as a team. Teams return to the starting area at a determined time and a
winning team is declared. Your company or team can choose from two themes, a personalized
trivia quest where participants answer trivia questions based on members of the group, or a logic
puzzle. We can also customize a theme suitable to your group and objectives.
Team Building events typically last 1.5 hours. A sample schedule is as follows:
10:00 am - 10:15 am: Introduction, activity overview, group instruction on use of GPS
10:15 am – 11:10 am: GPS Treasure Hunt, search for trivia questions
11:10 am – 11:30 am: Prizes, de-briefing
Modern Day Treasure Hunters Team Building Event includes the following:
- Group instruction on how to use the GPS unit
- Use of one GPS unit per group
- Personalized route and trivia questions
- Small prize for all participants at the end of the treasure hunt
- Optional Prizes for winning group available
- De-briefing session
