Dino Discovery in Clayton, April 2008
Modern Day Treasure Hunters organizes "scavenger hunts" where
participants use a handheld GPS (Global Positioning System) unit to
track and find clues along designated trails, based on the international
phenomenon of
geocaching.  Groups work together as they walk to look
for a set number of clues.
Exercise!
Walk from clue to clue at your own pace.  Your GPS unit can track the
distance you walk!  Some groups can rack up to 3 miles of walking in an
afternoon...wow!
Wholesome Family Fun!
It's a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening with the family.
Everyone needs to work together.
Learn Fun Facts!
Every event is themed, so you are sure to learn some new fun facts!
